THE WORK

Over the past four years, Esther has partnered closely with Kutoa Project to shape a brand that honours their heart-led mission of providing vital counseling and therapy services for women and children in Nairobi, Kenya.

She began by leading a full brand strategy and identity redesign, drawing inspiration from the layered symbolism of African mud cloth and Kente cloth to craft a logo and visual system rooted in healing, faith, and cultural pride. The new brand came to life through a warm, hopeful colour palette, carefully selected typography, and detailed guidelines that ensured every element remained true to Kutoa’s story.

Building on that foundation, Esther directed photography and video campaigns that captured authentic, emotional moments—bringing Kutoa’s impact to life for donors and the local community alike. She designed holiday and event campaigns, print collateral such as brochures and banners, and a complete web redesign that bridges the needs of local clients and international supporters. Today, Kutoa’s digital and physical presence work hand in hand to share their message of healing and hope, and Esther continues to support the organization’s growth through creative direction, storytelling, and strategy that uplift their mission at every touchpoint.

“Esther’s expertise helped us redefine and reimagine the story we’ve been a part of building for so long in the most thoughtful and intentional way.

In our first 5 years, a lot happened that transformed Kutoa Project. When looking to tell our evolving story in a new and vibrant way, we found Esther, our web design and branding guru. They have been so instrumental in building and continuing to support Kutoa Project’s story.”
